Install LEDs in a Corsa Dashboard Guide

Changing the bulbs behind the speedo Corsa

Quick tutorial on how to change the bulbs behind your speedo – whether its for replacing a blown one or adding a coloured LED.

Please note: This was performed on a 1994 corsa LS with no Rev Counter.

Tools
Philips Screwdriver - you will need a small one due to a few awkward places to reach and a long one too most likely.
LED Dash Kit Corsa B or Corsa C

Tutorial

Step One
After you have your bulbs and screwdrivers at the ready remove the 3 screws securing the steering wheel shroud holding the ignition, stalks etc

5

Step Two
You then need to remove the 3 screws from the speedo surround

2

Step Three
After the screws are removed you can remove the speedo surround by wobbling it and moving the steering wheel shroud around too so that you can get the bumps through the gap

Step Four
Once the surround is removed you have the speedo infront of you, there is a screw on the bottom left and bottom right undo these.. there is then a clip ontop which allows the speedo to be moved around abit better

3

Step Five
Warning: You most likely will endure scratches during this next step
You will then have to slide your hand under the clocks and remove the bulb by twisting and unlocking it.. After these are unlocked and removed replace the bulbs and refit.

Step Six
Please then test to see if they work and if they do then take the car for a drive to make sure the speedo works

Fault Finding
If the bulbs do not work - remove the bulbs again and turn the actual bulb around inside the holder (180 Degrees).
